Gatlinburg has been know to get a few inches of snow. And, on rare occasion, we get a few feet of snow. But it is a rare occasion that it snows before the first week of January, unless you count the snow made for the slopes by Ober Gatlinburg. Getting snow tonight, in the first week of December, could be a rare exception. Gatlinburg is predicted to get an inch or two of snow…maybe more in the higher elevations.
I love snow, but snow tonight would be a truly magical experience because tonight is the Christmas parade. So, in honor of the hopes and dreams of the 80,000+ people that will line the streets of Gatlinburg tonight in the spirit of the season, I have made it snow on our blog…if only digitally.
Let It Snow. Let It Snow. Let It Snow.
