Subscribe to A Day in the Smokies!!“The 7th Annual Old Mill Heritage Day at The Old Mill Square in Pigeon Forge Tennessee, will be filled with music, food, fun and games for all The Old Mill Heritage Dayages, demonstrations, crafts, storytelling and best of all – tradition. Throughout the day you will be able to see firsthand what a “day in the life” was like. View live demonstrations by our crafts people, such as lye soap making and apple butter making and watch wheel thrown pottery being made. Take a free guided tour of our 180 year old Historic Old Mill and see how antique engines and farm tractors were used.”

Activities Schedule
10 am – 5 pm

“The Old Mill General Store
Free guided tours of the Historic Old Mill from 10 am to 4 pm, old-fashioned farmers market, honey bee demo and crafts.

Pigeon River Pottery Parking Lot
Music and entertainment, fried green tomatoes, pulled pork BBQ, slaw, hot dogs, pinto beans and fried cornbread sampling.

The Old Mill Square Parking Lot
Antique cars, engines and tractors.

Pottery House Café & Grille Parking Lot
Appalachian children’s games, pumpkin painting, face painting, petting zoo, apple butter making, homemade fried apple pies.

Butler Street and Dixie Darlin’s Parking Lot
Mountain craft demonstrations and artists.”
