ERA IN THE SMOKIES DOES IT AGAIN!!!

Era In The Smokies Realty & Rentals of Gatlinburg has sponsored the ERA for MDA Golf Tournament and Auction for the last 14 years. Again this year-as for the last several years-we were able to raise OVER 10,000.00 to send local kids with Muscular Dystrophy to MDA Summer Camp in Gainesboro, TN! MDA Camp Discovery is a special time of year for these kids-one week with lots of fun and no boundaries!

Larry Reece, Owner/Broker of ERA In The Smokies, Says “While we applaud those who donate to the MDA telethon, the ERA for MDA Golf Classic offers local residents and visitors alike an opportunity to donate for the benefit of local children with 100% of the proceeds going to send the kids to camp-no administrative fees!”

“This year’s event was a wonderful success with gorgeous weather – Thank You Lord” – and couldn’t have happened without a lot of special people lending a helping hand,” says Reece. “I would like to thank everyone who donated, participated, and sponsored this event including, but certainly not an all-inclusive list, was the staff at Bent Creek Golf Resort, Best Italian Restaurant, T.G.I. Friday’s Sevierville, Dave McKenzie, Maples Brothers Constructions, Kevin Blalock, Taylor Motor Company of Waynesville, NC, and of course the wonderful staff at ERA In The Smokies!”

“The live auction conducted by Marty and Cindy Loveday after the tournament was a HUGE success, with a pint jar of Mrs. Libby Wolfenbarger’s bread and butter pickles bringing a record-setting $3,500.00! – Great job Guys!”

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the next year’s event – The Fifteenth Annual ERA for MDA Golf Tournament and Auction, on September 11, 2013! And check out photos of past events on our website at erainthesmokies.com!

  2. Hey! Quick question that’s entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My blog looks weird when viewing from my iphone. I’m
trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to fix this issue.
If you have any suggestions, please share. Cheers!
